Tim Wilson is an Application Architect with nearly a decade of experience in web design, business intelligence, data mining, databases, logistics business applications and systems development & design.
Tim has experience with formalizing IT processes, increasing efficiency, lowering costs and technical sales. He has experience with liasing with executives and management and routinely has been praised for his ability to visualize the scope of a project and his detail oriented approach to designing enterprise applications and systems. He was responsible for formalizing a help desk ticket system and support process for a global 24/7 operations environment that resulted in a 70% decrease in issue resolution times.
Tim has his private pilot licence and night rating endorsement and was training to be a commercial pilot before he changed career paths. As such he has extensive experience in meteorology, aeronautical laws & regulations, and general aviation. Tim also has his Aeronautical Restricted Radio Operators Licence from his pilot training (valid for life with current regulations) which includes an 'expert' english language proficiency test.
Tim has worked coordinating the multimedia presentation of local churches and non-profit organizations and worked extensively putting together PowerPoint presentations which utilized extensive custom-developed flash based overlays such as clocks, election results, and announcement loops. He also worked with audio technology helping to coordinate in-house and visiting bands and produce professional presentations. Tim has also designed custom based web sites and technologies for the internet since 1995 (including the layout and content of this site), including volunteering for a Texas based online game where he helped as a team lead for the web-development and as a volunteer for the quality testing departments as well as a programmer and technical consultant.
